Dairy Project

Our first cows

The dairy farming pilot project started in December 2007 with 8 cows. Through this project 2 young men have been provided with employment and the community has also benefitted from the supply of milk and manure.

Owing to the lack of chemicals available, many cows suffer from chronic infestation with ticks.
Sethule provides cattle dipping services to the community, thus helping to ensure healthy herds.
